Hey. This is Christos.

A massive welcome and thanx for being here. You are amazing!

If you deconstruct any celebration or festivity to their most basic elements, you'll see that it has always been all about good company, good food, drinks, and dance.

If you want a better celebration, this is how it is supposed to work.

  • Invite those you love and care the most.
  • Create a nice environment.
  • Have good food & drinks.
  • Hire a great DJ and dance the night away.

This is simple.

What happens instead is that we are starting focusing on so many details that complicate the recipe.

You are learning wedding styles with names like Boho Chic, Urban modern, Minimal country...You are matching colors. You are dealing with favor boxes. Centerpieces. Specialty furniture. Wish tables. Candy tables. Flowers. Bouquet. Invitations design. Save the date. RSVP. Lighting. Fireworks. Photobooths. Drones. Floor plans. Pinterest. Instagram. Next day photo shootings.

Off course you are! This is your wedding!

Yet, you start doubting.

What is an expense and what an investment? How to prioritize? What is important? What will have the biggest impact? What is serving my vanity and what my celebration? Is my planner serving my vision or her ambition? Will guests pay attention to all my efforts? What really matters? How are we going to combine all those elements? How are we going to pay?

What do I really want?

What do I really need?

Unless you have a great budget, you are going to start cutting corners.

Now your wedding is generic.

Average vendors, average pricing, average quality, average results.

So many things going on, yet nothing remarkable.

When in doubt go back to basics and start with them.

Focus on your loved ones.

Create a nice environment.

Have better food, drinks

Choose a "Wedding Republic DJ" and make a remarkable party.

May the fun be with you
Christos
